Air suspension Systems - Made in Germany
Your vehicle can do more. We make it road-legal.
Müller air suspension systems reliably increase the permissible gross vehicle weight of ambulances and passenger transport vehicles to up to 7.5 tonnes — TÜV-registered and proven in the field for decades.

Applications
Who we build for.
Our air suspension systems solve specific technical requirements across a wide range of applications — from lowering the vehicle or load bed to uprating for heavy bodywork.
01 / Emergency services
Ambulances
Lowering for patient loading, raising for easier loading. The core application of our systems — where reliability matters most.
Reference system: LF75 · 5.0 t load capacity
02 / Passenger transport
Passenger transport
inibuses, shuttle and coach buses with a lowering function for easier passenger boarding. In daily use across many European markets.
Application: entry & exit lowering
03 / Municipal & commercial vehicles
Commercial vehicles
Workshop, service, dropside/flatbed, tipper and similar bodies built on the Sprinter platform. Wherever the factory-fitted rear axle reaches its limits, our air suspension uprates its load-carrying capacity.
Application: uprating for continuous load
Why Müller Luftfeder
Function meets benefit.
TÜV-registered uprating
A type-approval report for the air suspension is available. Combined with separate, independent axle reinforcement, uprating up to 8.2 t gross vehicle weight is possible.
Reliability, and noticeably faster
End customers such as aid organisations actively request Müller air suspension from their bodybuilder. One reason is the noticeably faster raising and lowering of the vehicle.
Low maintenance requirement
An annual replacement of the maintenance set (air dryer cartridge and pressure hose), or every 60,000 km, ensures trouble-free, long-lasting operation.
A spare parts stock that thinks ahead
All relevant spare parts are available at short notice throughout Europe.

Air suspension systems
Two systems, four decisions
Our systems are fitted as standard with an 8 mm air line and a solenoid valve designed for exceptional loads — ensuring extremely fast raising and lowering of the bodywork.
We equip every system with either a oil-free high-power or a high-performance compressor, so sufficient compressed air is always available.
For the electrical connection, we work according to the vehicle's equipment: if the vehicle has a parameterisable special module (PSM) — as is usually the case — we supply the system with a matching wiring harness and the associated control unit. If there is no PSM, we supply the correspondingly adapted wiring harness.
01 High-Power Compressor
For vehicles with PSM (Parameterisable Special Module)
02 High-Performance Compressor
For vehicles with PSM
03 High-Power Compressor
For vehicles without PSM
04 High-Performance Compressor
For vehicles without PSM
Spare parts
Spare parts catalogue currently in preparation
An ambulance waiting for a spare part is an ambulance missing from the duty roster. That's why we keep the relevant items in stock ourselves, ensuring fast availability — from compressors and air springs to dryer cartridges and solenoid valves — for necessary repairs and timely maintenance.

The spare parts catalogue is currently under construction. Until then, a brief enquiry with the vehicle and system number is enough — we'll get back to you with availability and price.
Certification
Officially tested.
Our air suspension systems have official confirmation: uprating the Sprinter to up to 5 tonnes has been officially confirmed by corresponding type-approval reports. This is based on TÜV type-tested sample reports.

Municipal vehicles with flexible bodywork
Municipal vehicles are typically used with a variety of bodies — such as flatbeds, tippers or cranes. Our system makes it possible to achieve a higher weight uprating while also lowering the load bed, significantly easing loading and unloading.

Europe-wide spare parts distribution
Regular supply of all relevant spare parts through bodybuilders as well as specialist spare parts distributors, e.g. Tremonia in Germany and CBM in France.
Team
The people behind the system
Short lines of communication, dedicated contacts: from the initial technical design through to spare parts delivery, you speak to the same people at every stage — no ticketing system, no call centre.
Technical advice for your project
Whether it's a new design, an uprating project or spare parts requirements — our team advises on load capacity, installation and maintenance intervals.
